BAFRA policy on the membership of ex-offenders

BAFRA believes that people with a criminal or sport-disciplinary record deserve a second chance, and that officiating is an excellent means by which ex-offenders can contribute to the community, show responsibility and develop people skills. This must however be balanced by an assessment of whether there is a risk to children or of violence, or a loss of the integrity that is essential to the officiating profession.
