CONFESSION?

Have a look at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcFtcoo0ic4 and smile. It would never happen here, or would it?

ROGER'S RHETORIC

From last week Play: A's ball, 3rd and 4, on A's 46. Team A is lined up with two tight ends in a balanced line. Before the snap, noseguard B94 enters the neutral zone but does not make contact with any offensive player. Left tackle A76 immediately reacts to B94's movement and lifts a hand from the ground. The ball is snapped and QB A17 goes to one knee on A's 44.

Ruling: A's ball, 3rd and 9, on A's 41. Dead ball foul. False start by A76. Before the snap, a Team B player who enters the neutral zone may threaten a maximum of three players. If the Team B player (e.g. nose guard) enters the neutral zone directly toward a Team A lineman (e.g. snapper), then that Team A player and the two adjacent linemen are considered to be threatened. In a balanced, old fashioned "T" formation, only the snapper and the two guards are considered threatened. Time may have to be put back on the clock.
New this week A's ball, 3rd and 10, on A's 2. There are 30 seconds on the game clock in the fourth quarter and the score is A23-B18. QB A18 throws a forward pass that is deflected back to him while in A's end zone. He then throws a pass from A's end zone to A22 at A's 12 that falls incomplete.

Ruling?

HOME TEAM REPORT NEXT HOME GAME

Farnham Knights No Five yard solid lines. No hashmarks in middle of the field, hashmarks on the sideline were very faint. Sidelines and ten yard lines were painted green making it difficult to see them. No coach's area or team areas marked. No numbers.

Playoffs
Cornish Sharks The endzones at either end were approximately 7-8 yards long, though the pitch was 100 yards in length. Rather than adjust the the pitch which was marked out well to accomadate longer endzones it was decided to play leaving the endzones as they were.
The game itself was played in great spirit and both sets of teams deserve credit for playing good football in very hot conditions.
