Start was delayed by 5mins due to the slightly late arrival of the away team. Manchester only had white shirts available. Both coaches agreed to play with different coloured numbers/ panels on shirts. The match was played without problem or confusion. The crew would like to offer plaudits for the excellent attitude of the players and coaches of both teams. It was a hard-fought game played in very windy conditions that was a superb advert for the game. Keith Alldritt #323 |

Game held up for 90 minutes in 4th quarter. Firstly to treat a player with a bad injury, then for the ambulance to take him to hospital, then return. Game abandoned with 4:30 left in game when Chester suffered another injury to another player. Les Connor #152 |
