BOWL
CREWS
The selection committee sat on August 30th and after much deliberation, I am pleased to announce the following crews for the 2008 bowl games.

Please join the selection committee in wishing everyone selected to a bowl game this year hearty congratulations and good luck for your game.
Very well done to you all.

FORTHCOMING TRAINING EVENTS
BAFRA Elite Programme Training Day: Saturday 13/09/08
The response to the Elite Programme Training Day has been excellent. 29 people have confirmed they will be attending so far. As we budgeted for 30 then that leaves just 1 more space to fill. If you want to come along drop me an email. I will allocate the space on a first come first served basis. See Newsflash 31/08 for location and times
Northern and Southern Training Days
Both these events are open to all BAFRA members. I am working on the programmes at present and more details will follow in a week or so. However, please pencil the dates and locations in your diary.
Northern Event: Birchwood Golf Club, Warrington. Saturday 4th October 2008
Southern Event: Saracens Head Hotel, Chelmsford, Sunday 12th October 2008

PLAY CLARIFICATION
The 'play of the week' from issue 31/08 should have stated that A89 contacts B36 when jumping to catch the ball. Without contact between the players, A89 would not be guilty of offensive pass interference.
