FINAL REMINDER
This is a final reminder that the selection committee will be meeting this weekend to select crews for this year’s BAFL prestige games. There are a number of members with no availability listed for September. I urge you to check your availability and if required send me an update before 5pm on Friday August 21st. At this time I will be producing the necessary reports for Saturdays selection meeting and any availability updates after that time will miss the cut.

SAD NEWS
We are sad to report the death of Alan Newcombe of Maidstone Pumas during the game against East Kent Mavericks on August 16th. On behalf of everyone in BAFRA, I'd like to express our condolences to Alan’s family, friends and team mates.
If any game management would like to hold a minute's silence before next week's game, please do so.

GAME DAY ISSUES
Could I please remind everyone that if for any reason you are forced to withdraw from a game on the morning of a fixture, you need to let me know by phone.

PLAUDITS – CHESTER V EDINBURGH
Plaudits to teams for a hard hitting fun game, with plenty of communication with both teams and cooperation with our three man crew. Special plaudits to Kat from the Wolves, as she tells me she has
never had plaudits before ...
